stability brings freedom.
For me, the important question would be, is this a job about which I'm passionate? Find one of those and you'll feel free and stable. This, based on my personal definition of freedom: when you prefer your vocation to your vacation.
Of course, it helps when your vocation includes summers off.
Stability is highly over-rated.
